National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine (NAPA) unites Ukrainian IP professionals, committed to build a better society through intellectual property and innovations. Working with business, science, creative industries, we protect intellectual property – Trademarks, Patents, Designs, Copyright.
But now Russia has invaded Ukraine – the shield of Europe and of the civilized world. It’s a time for NAPA to protect Ukraine and IP community. And you can demonstrate your support of peace, democracy, and IP profession in Ukraine.

What happens in Ukraine now
On February 24th, 2022, Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. War, started by Russia 8 years ago by annexation of Ukrainian Crimea and invasion into the Donbas region, now is the massive and unprecedental war in Europe. Russia uses aviation, artillery, missiles for killing peaceful civilians across the country. UN declared 5381 victims as for 22/04/2022. Many people lost their homes and incomes. IP professionals are also sensitive.

Ukraine is the part of global democracy. A threat to freedom, life and law in Ukraine means the threat for the global world. Intellectual property is a part of values shared by Ukraine and by the rest of the World. Let’s protect together!

NAPA has established a charity fund (CF “NAPA”) designed specifically to support of IP sphere. Every your donation will be used for needs of IP practitioners in distress.
With your support, CF “NAPA” will finance:
Humanitarian and medical needs of all Ukrainian IP professionals, their families and employees, including those ones who fled Ukraine and who defend Ukraine from Russian military aggression;
Preservation, restoration, creation of possibilities for continuing of professional practices by Ukrainian IP professionals;
Scientific, cultural and humanitarian projects based predominantly on innovations and on intellectual property rights
